This release is one of the oldest and rarest Rosebank single malts ever released. Distilled in 1991 and matured for 32 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel, this incredible Lowland liquid was bottled in 2024 for Gordon & MacPhail’s ‘Recollection Series 3’.

Presented at 51.2% abv, those lucky enough to try this lost masterpiece should expect an unusual nose of lime zest and milk chocolate, followed by a palate of poached pear and vanilla fudge, leading to a tropical fruit finish.

Colour Golden

Aroma Fragrant gorse flower aromas intertwine with lime zest and a hint of milk chocolate.  Dried banana notes come to the fore alongside an undertone of peanuts.

Taste Sweet honeycomb flavours give way to subtle guava and passionfruit.  Smooth poached pear leads to vanilla fudge.

Finish Medium-bodied with creamy apple and tropical fruit.
