In 1997, Oculus was a vision of what the Okanagan Valley could be. It was the raw potential of newly planted vineyards on arid, sage brush-dotted benches overlooking Oliver and Osoyoos Lake. It was the absolute conviction that with an uncompromising focus on quality in the vineyard and winery, this land could produce one of the great wines of the world.

This 2020 Oculus Bordeaux-style wine is the result of meticulous selection in the vineyard estate with grapes that have been specifically nurtured for this rare wine. Optically-sorted grapes are gravity-filled into specially constructed French oak and concrete fermenters before gently laying the wine to rest in individual barrels.

Rich and powerful, this wine was sourced from designated blocks in our Osoyoos (90%) and Oliver Black Sage (10%) vineyard estates from low-yielding vines. Aged nineteen months in small French oak barrels followed by an additional 24 months in bottle prior to release.
