The Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo “PASSO SACRO” is the perfect compromise between structure and freshness. It is made from the white vinification of pure Montepulciano grapes grown on the Passo Sacro hill in Villamagna.
The PASSO SACRO doesn’t go unnoticed due to the vibrancy of its color, hence its name “cerasuolo” meaning cherry in local dialect. On the nose, we find herbal notes of chamomile, as well as red fruit hints such as apples, wild strawberries and cherries. The palate is fresh, savory, with aromas of peach and sweet spices at the end.
The perfect harmony between its taste and aroma suggests pairing it with a wide range of dishes, ranging from aperitifs to pizza, and from seafood to meat. It is worth trying with raw fish dishes and delicate seafood.
