Hazelburn 15 Year Old Oloroso Cask Matured 2022 Release features a nose of zesty orange and tangerine notes initiate this dram, opening up to hints of milk chocolate, wine gums and fruit cake. On the palate, the oloroso maturation presents itself in notes of cinnamon, hard to¬ffee and milk chocolate. There is a musty element reminiscent of cigar boxes and nutmeg. The finish: cinnamon note persists, with notes of gingerbread and ground pepper developing in the finish.An official distillery bottling, Hazelburn Single malt Scotch Whiskey was distilled in 2006 and then aged in fresh Oloroso Sherry Casks for 15 years. Only 9,000 bottles were produced of this gorgeous non-chill filtered and colour free expression. Established in 1828, Springbank is Scotland’s oldest independent, family-owned distillery. 100% of the production process is carried out on site using traditional methods, making the distillery and whiskies, truly unique. Hazelburn Single Malt Whisky was first produced at Springbank in 1997. Triple distilled and unpeated it is more elegant and light in style.
