Wonderful, complex nose with oak, licorice and sweet red fruits. The taste is dry with medium body, good acid, and velvety tannins. Has flavours of ripe red fruit, as well as some tobacco. It is very complex with a long aftertaste. A bit like a modern Nebbiolo with a touch of burgundy, great stuff!

Red wine made exclusively from Baga grapes, grown in clay-limestone soils, coming exclusively from Vinha Pan, aged for 24 months in new and used French oak barrels. It impresses with the clarity of its fresh red and black fruits, followed by earthy notes, herbs and sweet spices, which appear both on the nose and in the mouth. Precise, compact and refined, it has pulsating acidity, firm and very fine-grained tannins and a deep and complex finish, with hints of flowers, cherries, currants, tobacco and chalk. Very seductive, it is excellent now and has everything to get even better in the coming decades.
