2021 Vintage Information

The 2021 vintage bursts from the glass with bright aromas of lemon zest, green apple, and white florals, with an undercurrent of flinty minerality that belies its cool climate origins along the Sonoma Coast. A beautiful tension midpalate elevates the notes of Asian pear and lime which mingle with a vibrant acidity, leading to a clean and refreshing finish.

93 Points - James Suckling

A crisp and complex chardonnay with sliced apple, pie crust and hints of white peaches. Medium body. Lovely length. Delicious flavors. Excellent complexity.

92 Points - Jeb Dunnuck
Pale straw-colored, the 2021 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast is 90% estate fruit and has an attractive perfume of white flowers, soft, tropical mango skin, and quince. Medium-bodied, it has a rounded texture and lovely notes of honeysuckle with ripe pear and preserved citrus. This is a softly textured, supple, fresh wine to enjoy over the next few years.

2022 Vintage Information

Hailing from the cool Sonoma Coast appellation, the 2022 vintage showcases pale straw in the glass and opens with aromas of green apple, lemon zest, and honeysuckle. Alluring flavors of Honeycrisp apple and Asian pear are balanced by a flinty minerality and creamy texture on the mid-palate. A vibrant acidity accented by flaky sea salt provides tension and length that drives a lingering finish with notes of tangerine and guava.

92 Points -
The 2022 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast takes on a touch deeper straw appearance but is still pale yellow and offers notes of wet stone, ripe peach, and melon rind. It’s full-bodied, with a rounded mouthfeel and good lifted freshness, more ripe peach, melon, and flowers and a good finish. This attractive white also reveals a touch of warming spice.

92 Points -
The 2022 Chardonnay, made with 98% estate fruit, is open and perfumed with scents of fresh quince, yellow apples, cashews, acacia and bread dough. The light-bodied palate features generous, crunchy fruit, a touch of roundness to its texture, tangy freshness and a long, ethereal finish. This is very easy to drink!
