Critic tasting note: (2017 vintage) "From the highest zone in Gualtallary, about 1,500 meters up and almost at the limit of viticultural possibilities. 40% of the total volume of this wine was fermented with whole clusters, and then it was all aged for 18 months. The climate is cold, and the soil is rich in limestone, two factors that directly influence the character of this wine, in its red fruits mixed with earthy notes and spices in a context of great tension and structure. Don’t be afraid of those fierce pinot tannins or of its acidity. This is a pinot of origin." - 97/100, Patricio Tapia - Descorchados
