Château Giscours (Margaux AOC): This Classified Growth in 1855 is the first label of Château Giscours. It is of great finesse and elegance. Delicacy and power are combined in this flask to bring you the elegance expected of a great Margaux wine. The aging potential of this great wine is between 8 and 20 years or even more for the most exceptional vintages.

Secrets such as those that a glass of Château Giscours will whisper to the taste buds of wine lovers.

Ultimately, all the traditional qualities of a great Margaux are blended: the finesse of the tannins, purity, a gentle, refined elegance, and great finish on the palate.

Tasting Notes
COLOR:
With a very deep and dense dark red wine color, you know you are looking at a concentrated example of Margaux, just through its appearance.

NOSE:
The Nose is still introvert being such a young and concentrated wine, it doesn’t let its full aromatic potential out so much yet. What comes through though is generously fruity with dark cherry, blackcurrant and blackberry jam. The oaky notes are there but perfectly well integrated and subtle.

TASTE:
The elegance and subtly of the Margaux expression, raspberry coulis, delicate fresh berries and long and complex layers of oaky, spicy notes.
Food Pairing
Chateau Giscours is best served at 15.5 degrees Celsius, 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The cool, almost cellar temperature gives the wine more freshness and lift.
Chateau Giscours is best served with all types of classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, roasted, braised and grilled dishes.
Chateau Giscours is a perfect match with Asian dishes, hearty fish courses like tuna, mushrooms and pasta as well as cheese.
