Luce Lux Vitis 2021 750ml

In the glass, it is an intense ruby red colour. On the nose it is rich and complex, with notes of ripe black fruits, blackberry and mulberry, juniper and thyme. Sweet notes of tobacco complete this magnificent bouquet. On the palate, it is very balanced, vibrant and full-bodied, with silky and elegant tannins. The finish is beautifully persistent and fresh.

The 2021 vintage was characterised by a mild and dry winter, which led to slightly early
budding in the first week of April. The mild weather was interrupted by a significant drop in temperatures around 8–9 April, which slowed the growth of the shoots but did not damage the plants. The months of May and June were consistent and not too hot, allowing the plants to return to optimal growth levels, ensuring excellent flowering and fruit set. The summer period continued with slightly above average temperatures and no rain, leading to veraison in the last week of July. These conditions were interrupted in the third week of August with two heavy periods of rain that quenched the plants, rehydrated the soil, and helped to trigger the ripening of the grapes. September was beautiful and sunny, with strong night- time temperature variations that allowed for the perfect phenolic and aromatic ripening of the grapes.
