It was distilled in 2015 and set downt in ex-Oloroso Sherry Butts #332 & #333 for 5 years before being bottled in the Winter of 2020. The bottle was released to celebrate 28 Years of MacLean & Bruce.

MacLean & Bruce are Scotland's premium destination management company, organising luxury travel, exclusive accommodation and a wide range of activities throughout the country. The company was started in 1992 by whisky writer Charles MacLean and her was joined in 2013 by director of Adelphi, Alex Bruce.
