Critic tasting note: (2021 vintage) "This chardonnay was aged in a split of French oak barrels and stainless steel for three months, and like the last vintage, it opens with intense toasted nut and smoky green apple and citrus. The attack is fresh, and what it lacks in subtlety, it more than makes up for in flavour. It is fresh on the palate with a slight uptick in alcohol to 13.8. Still, it has the peach and hazelnut base to absorb that easily, and it finishes with a vibrant level of acidity with a touch of reduction and smoke that adds interest. Think creamy pasta, seafood dishes, steamed lobster, or clams with a beurre noisette. (Anthony Gismondi)." - 89/100, Gismondi on Wine
