DON made its debut with the 2005 vintage and has since undergone radical changes, especially since winemaker Matías Ciciani took charge of it in 2013. This version, always made with malbec from organic vineyards in the El Cepillo zone in the southern Uco Valley, has a greater emphasis on fruity freshness and less oak than in the past. This vintage shows a strong herbal side combined with delicious red fruits. Fermented in 400-liter barrels, 90% of them used, it was aged for 18 months in those same containers. The texture is firm, and the feeling of nerve and freshness is permanent.
